Well, since everyone here hates Mustangs, I'm not so sure we do..... P.S. My Camaro just rolled over 199,000 this week. You got no room to talk smack on mileage!

*Suggests decal concepts for Grimmace's vehicle...* *randomly posts his results from SparkLife's Vice-Presidential test* You are 5% Vice-Presidential! Your VP Personality is: Criminal-Idealistic You stand up for what you believe, but unfortunately you believe in the Southern states seceding from the Union... or in something else that the Man considers "illegal." Like John C. Breckenridge, who went from Vice President of the United States to Secretary of War for the Confederacy, you may end up on the wrong side of history. As a Vice President, you would be: 43% Criminal 10% Invisible 38% Expendable 67% Idealistic 22% Essential 36% Electable

Danka sheldon for letting me back into the message boards.
now after the shoutout.
yesterday, i got pulled over for i guess, going 56 in a 40 zone. When they ran the scan on my name, they found that there has been a warrant out for my arrest, but it's a year or more old. It is for writing a bad check 2 years ago and not going to court to settle it. Too bad that in 2 years, they still dont have my correct address. they have the 1613 11th street address which we haven't lived at for 3+ years. So they arrested me and put me took me to the jail in norfolk. at the same time, they ran the plates on the mustang. they were to the guy's mitsibushi eclipse that he had before he owned the mustang for 4 months. He got the mustang and decided not to register the plates with the mustang. what a faggot. i should have not given him the extra $50, i shoulda kept it. anyway, i didnt have my transitional title (from buying it in virginia) on me or in the car, so they had no proof of ownership. that was 2-3 HUGE strikes against me. luckily, Dave was with me (i feel horrid for getting him involved) and was most likely a HUGE help to me not getting worse charges. the norfolk officer that pulled me over was a member of the national guard as well, so we talked for a while, and he trusted me enough he wasn't too worried about me not having cuffs on in the jail or stuff. he's probly going to iraq in a couple months (most likely about a year) as well. I think my fuel pump is going out as well, so that's another concern. it's doing stuff like my old boat did (with the gas pedal and stuff).
so i had dave take my car back and he came back with $150 bond so i could get out. i paid him back today (luckily i had enough).
we think the check is the same one that we already paid for and stuff. so this being arrested stuff sucks, and was probly for nothing, cuz if it's that check i wrote for $10 to fill mom's gas tank, i paid it already and it was like $110 to cover everything. totally gay. that would remove any more court costs, though. yay for stop class so that this isn't on my record.

no mug shots, but i was in a lil make-shift cell for a while, and they got 3 copies of my fingerprints. the guy that pulled me over was also in the national guard, so we talked a bit.

lol
My new ride has the mileage of the Mustang put to shame.
Ye Olde 350 in ye Oldsmobile Cutlass hast 310,000+ miles. Unlike the Camaro, however, it smokes like a freight train, (and corners like one as well). But at least all the burnt oil smoke means extra pollution. And most important of all, it's a full second faster in the 1/4 mile. I eats many Mustangs for breakfast. But not the new ones, or the souped up 80s ones. They are actually pretty fast.

Hindsight is 20/20 my friend, don't feel too bad about the whole thing with the boat. You live and you learn. As far as the mileage thing, it was in THE GREATEST for 280,000 miles, and put through a lot of towing heavy loads, like a few TONS of bricks from this brick place out in western NE when we got all those bricks for the backyard patio thing at the house in NE right before we moved.

Also, my buddy Steve (who I'm pretty sure you've met) who used to have the Turbo Supra is getting a Mustang....the 99-up ones with the 4.6 DOHC. I guess they're cheap.
