too bad xbox didn't have a predecessor and gamecube is the first nintendo system to run off of cd's...now, the GBA plays games from earlier systems so nintendo had the same idea sony did, just with a different genre of systems ummm.....Considering who designed the Xbox, it DID have such predecessors/notable alternate gaming platforms as MS-DOS 1.x-8.x, Windows 3.x, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 98 SE.....you get my point...they COULDA made it simply run an OS compatible with other Microsoft OS's......okay, that wouldn't really work well, with the smaller resolution of a TV and whatnot......DURRRRR The one reason I'll support the Xbox over the other two is the fact that at least the Xbox is derived of an American company, as opposed to the Japancube and the JapanStation II, and therefore reeks of superiority in comparison. |

those are not pure gaming platforms and I know you've seen some modded xboxes and you can make your xbox run off any operating system you want and still be able to play your games if you have enough cash. You can't talk crap about the fact that nintendo is japanese because it has two different headquarters in tokyo and redmond. The one in redmond ROXORZ

Not that I'm really a racist, but 3 years in Ozarks is bound to make you (at a minimum) refer to non-white races in derogatory terms. It's really kind of annoying, as most of my friends down here have an arbitrary hatred of black people. Funny, but it gets old. I MUST ESCAPEORRZZZZZ!!!!! |

You can't talk crap about the fact that nintendo is japanese because it has two different headquarters in tokyo and redmond. The one in redmond ROXORZ bah. Acura and Toyota both have a few plants in the US, and they are SUX!  Besides, being an ATARI fan, Nintendo is my natural enemy. Had not the NES stolen the VIDEO GAME THRONE from the ATARI 2600, we would still be reaping the benefits of ATARI's American goodness......  |

Besides, ATARI makes lots of great new games, and their original systems had such classics as "Human Cannonball".  |

that's why the ps2 will rule supreme. i almost typed supreign... like supreme reign io guess... wnyay, the ps2 will rule supreme because it has 2 joysticks and get this... they actually look and feel the same. amazing, huh?
